Description Improve your engine’s performance with Good Parts 6-3-1 tuned exhaust header.  The 6-3-1 configuration with equal length primary and equal length secondary tubes has been proven to be the most effective in improving performance over a wide RPM range.  Good Parts headers are designed to allow easy access to the fasteners attaching it to the head. Coated inside and outside with Jet-Hot “Satin Black” ceramic coating to reduce surrounding temperatures, protect from corrosion and withstand surface temperatures up to 1250 deg F. Manifold gaskets and outlet companion flanges or exhaust system adapters are sold separately. Jet-Hot coatings are completely cured and do not require break-in procedure before use. However, please note that exhaust temperatures can be excessive while breaking in a fresh engine or while tuning and dyno testing.  Care must be taken to avoid damage to the coating due to excessive heat during these times.  Jet-Hot recommends using a strong fan to maintain air flow over the header or better yet, install an old cast iron manifold for engine break-in. Click here for coating care instructions Installation Note: The original TR250 and 1969-71 TR6 intake manifolds have an unused protrusion on the bottom of the casting that must be cut off to clear the header pipes.
