1920s Mary Thew attr Arts and Crafts ring hand crafted in silver with chrysoprase in foliate design

Description A really lovely precisely hand-crafted Arts and Crafts ring from the c1920s era. It is such a pretty design with a centrally-set apple green chrysoprase stone. There is an openwork halo around the stone, consisting of three sectioned leaves and circular features over which are laid tiny rope work circles, hence the Thew attribution. It has such a delicate design and yet is wonderfully made so is sturdy and comfortable to wear. I love the ropework feature at the base of the stone’s setting too.  The hand wrought silver work of the face is beautiful. The size of the ring is approx UK size L.5 (US 6). In excellent condition I am pleased to say and as mentioned, is so comfortable on the finger. I will send in a new ring gift box by complimentary tracked and signed post. Thank you. Ref: cvx
