The new Schwalbe G-ONE RS combines road speed with cyclocross grip. The center section of the RS tire has a specially developed scale structure, which gives the driver more braking traction or steering grip depending on the running direction – and makes the tire super fast. To get the most out of it, the G-ONE RS has different running directions for use on the front and rear wheel. For maximum speed, Schwalbe’s developers have opted for a semi-slick version. The inspiration for the matching grip came from their own cross tire X ONE Speed – so the slightly angled side blocks can be found on the tire, which provide maximum grip or braking performance depending on the rolling direction.
