Product information DIRECTIONS OF USE Strictly follow the following use and dosage instruction Oral Administration: This product consists of Oregano Essential Oil already diluted in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and is ready to use. For the best and most immediate absorption apply 2 drops of ImunShield directly under your tongue. Dilute 4 drops in water, juice, food or milk and use it several times per day. A sensation of warmth/burning, spicy taste is normal. Topical Administration: The product is pre-diluted, use it directly to the area you wish to apply it, several times per day. Rub in gently and thoroughly. Allow time for absorption before wiping away any excess or covering with clothes. Oregano Oil is a hot essential oil. A sensation of warmth/ burning is normal. *Only for skin use. Do not apply near the eye area or genitals. Be careful on touching those areas while having the emulsion (mixture) on your hands. If you accidentally get any in your eyes or have contact with these areas, rinse with plenty of water straight away. Your eyes may sting. If you start having any sight problems, you should contact your doctor immediately. Wash your hands well before inserting contact lenses. Do not apply on injured areas, irritated (e.g. sunburned) or open wounds. Inhalation: Add 4 drops in hot water and let the steam act. Keep a distance to the point you do not feel it too hot. You may use this method several times per week. SAFETY INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS Do not take more ImunShield than the recommended dosage stated in the directions of use section. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor’s advice before using this product. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while using this product. There are no adequate and well controlled studies of oregano oil in pregnant women. Oregavit Wild Oil of Oregano has a high carvacrol content of around 86-90% Should I drink lots of water when taking Oil of Wild Oregano? Yes. Water helps flush toxins left from dead pathogens (bacteria, candida, parasites etc.) from the body. It is important to drink 6-10 glasses of water daily to maintain good health. Can Oil of Oregano be used to help prevent infections? Yes. Use Oil of Oregano with soap to wash hands or skin after exposure to public washrooms or close contact with other people such as shaking hands, kissing or crowded environments such classrooms, airplanes, buses etc. You may also inhale the oil, or rub it on the gums. Avoid mucous membranes and other sensitive skin areas. Oil of Oregano can be added to water in a mister and sprayed around the house to kill bacteria, mold and viruses in the air. Use a drop or two on a sponge or wet cloth for cleaning kitchen counters, sinks, stoves; and refrigerators in order to kill microbes. Can I overdosed of Oregano Oil ? Yes! Essential oils are composed of highly concentrated naturally occurring chemicals. Even herbs and natural forms of many plants are only beneficial in small quantities. This is true of Oil of Oregano. Please do not exceed recommended dosages. The adage “less is more” is at work here. The liver must process the Oregano oil and will become overloaded if too large an amount is taken. People using excessive amounts of alcohol regularly or taking 3 or more prescription drugs should avoid using Oil of Oregano. How long will my Oil Of Oregano last? A 30ml bottle will last 6 months if you take the recommended dosage every day. Most people will not have a need to use this much, so your bottle should last much longer. Are there other uses for Oil of Oregano? Yes! You may add a drop or two to vegetable oils and other foods to extend their shelf life. Oregano oil contains phenols and other compounds which are powerful antioxidants. Use a few drops on a wet cloth for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen counters and bathroom surfaces.. Carry when camping, trekking or traveling for adding to water or food and for treating cuts, scrapes, bites etc. There is an expiry date for this natural product? The shelf life of the oil is many years. Oil of Oregano contains natural antioxidants which preserve the oil. But we are obliged from the (EU) European Union rules to point out a date for natural uses . In this case , we suggest to consume in period of 3 years from manufacture date.
