The blade is made from M4 Sherman Damascus steel. This is a beautiful Damascus steel made by Chad Nichols. What makes this material so special is the type of steel that is used. Steel from an old M4 Sherman tank is woven into the Damascus steel. The M4 Sherman is the most famous and most used tank from the Second World War. The pattern on the blade is reminiscent of the deep caterpillar tracks left by the large M4 Sherman tanks. The handle of this historic knife is made from one piece of sharpened stainless steel. Two micarta scales in a matching colour have been placed on top of this. The colour resembles the American army uniform from the Second World War.
