The Bker Barlow Plum 100700 is a classic gentleman’s knife. Its design looks friendly and traditional. The Barlow pattern has been produced for many years by many brands. Few, however, are able to create such a nice and subtle Barlow like Bker. With this Barlow Bker took another step back in time. The blade is namely made from C75 carbon steel. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drop of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape. The handle is made from stunning plum wood. A material we often see on classic knives from Solingen, Germany. The edges are nicely rounded and the fine texture of the wood looks great on the slim handle. A Bker shield with *Baumwerk* logo finishes the whole. The blade is also enhanced with a classic lasered logo. You open it with two hands and when opened a slipjoint will lock the blade. Please note: it won’t completely block the blade like a backlock would!
